The final European race was held in Albacete, Spain, the weather was sunny and nice. In the first Friday’s free training Míra fell down, but he was OK and he fell due to unevenness of the track surface, but fortunately it was not dangerous. Mechanics managed to maintain the motorcycle till the next free training, so Míra got on it and drove to get known better the difficult track of Albacete.
In the first qualification on Saturday was Míra 2 seconds behind the leader and all of us believed in improvement in the second qualification, at least to achieve the time from last year. In the second qualification Míra got faster nearly by 4 tenths of second, but in the last but one lap he fell down on the front wheel. This time the fall was worse, because the motorbike in rotation hit Mira’s back and wounded his left shoulder blade. This avoided him to get better position in the race and he received 12th position in the starting grid, it means third row out of 40 racers. We all hoped for getting his shoulder better, but unfortunately the pain grew. In the race Míra kept the 12th position, but due to the pain his performance was limited, till the end of the race Míra lost one position and finished on the 13th place.
