Last but one sixth race of an Italian championship CIV was held in Misano Adriatico circuite, due to unrealized agreement on Imola circuit. Nearly all trials were on wet surface. Therefore Míra did not ride on the motorcycle for nearly 11 weeks it was necessary to go for both trial rides on Thursday in order to gain more confidence.
In the second training on Friday there was much more work for our technician, because unfortunately Míra left the motorcycle, which hit the constraint. It absolutely did not look good, the front rear and the body sheet was completely destroyed. The worse came out after the deep analysis of the motorcycle, the frame had to be exchanged because the steering rod was stretched. Míra got a spare frame and the motorcycle was completed late in the evening and ready for the qualification on Saturday. The first qualification on Saturday was ended on the dry surface and Míra finished on the second place for the starting grid. The second qualification was on the wet track and Míra finished on the third position but because of slower times the times achieved in the first qualification were taken into account, that meant second place in the starting grid. The track was wet again for the warm up on Sunday, Míra was told to finish and not damage the motorcycle. Mechanics made the standard check of the motorcycle for the race in the afternoon. It was heavy raining when the race began. The start was good even though Míra was on the fifth position when leaving the first curve. During two laps Míra got through on second position, which he was trying to keep till the end of the race. But three laps before the end he got a high side and fell down. This avoided him good positioning. Motorcycle was ok, no damages, Míra managed to get on it again and finally received one point for the 15th position. This complicated the situation in his leadership in the championship, he lost his 25 points jump and is only 5 points ahead to the second rider. How all this will end?
