During the weekend from 15.-16.5.2010 there was a race from the Alpe Adria championship on the Masaryk circuit in Brno. We were happy that there was no other race of Italian championship CIV in Míra´s schedule, so he could attend a race on the motorcycle of GP category. He was really looking forward. The first trainings were on Thursday and Friday, the track was wet and Míra was getting better by every single ridden lap. We wanted a dry track, but experience from the wet will definitely become fruitful in future. On Saturday’s sunny but cold morning the track got dry. The team was performing like one man, the cooperation with rider when setting the motorcycle for dry track was fantastic. Both measured trainings were good, the achieved times were getting better and better. During the final lap in the second training Míra made a great ride and earned the pole position for the Sunday race.
On Sunday morning there was a very strong wind and the temperature was incredible 4 Celsius Degrees. It nearly looked like the all seasons occured during that racing weekend. We were testing the motorcycle setting during the warm up, the setting remained the same for the race. Míra did not manage the start well, but he was the first at the end of the lap. Míra tried to make a small jump on the riders behind him, which he finally managed. Míra was keeping this jump all race, during the last two laps the two riders behind him started to get closer, fortunately Míra managed this situation and finished on the first position. Míra: It was a very hard race for me, the wind was very strong, I have never experienced such conditions. My steering handlebar was closing in the curves, I have to ride carefully no risks in order to avoid falls.
